                   AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 6958, AS
                   AMENDED, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE, SO AS
                   TO REZONE A TRACT OF LAND LOCATED AT 204 AND
                   210 HIGH STREET, BEING ON THE NORTHEAST LINE OF
                   HIGH STREET SOUTHEAST OF SECOND STREET, FROM
                   R-4 SPECIAL ZONE TO C-2 CONVENIENCE COMMERCIAL
                   ZONE, SUBJECT TO CERTAIN CONDITIONS.

              	   SECTION 1.  BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
         CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That Ordinance No. 6958, as
         amended, known as the Zoning Ordinance, be and the same is 
hereby
         amended so as to rezone:
               
                A tract of land located at 204 and 210 High Street,
                being on the northeast line of High Street
                southeast of Second Street. The south 52 feet of
                the west 91.5 feet of lot 6, High Street, Original
                Town of Chattanooga, not recorded, and the north 50
                feet of the west 131.5 feet of lot 8, High Street,
                Original Town of Chattanooga, not recorded; being
                the properties described in deed book 2910, page
                60, ROHC, and deed book 3928, page 911, ROHC.  Tax
                Map No. 135M-K-3 and 4.  
               
         from R-4 Special Zone to C-2 Convenience Commercial Zone.

              	   SECTION 2.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this rezoning 

         shall be subject to the following conditions:
        
              1.   Subject to use as a coffee house or gift or antique 
shop
                   only.
        
              2.   All existing easements are retained.
        
        
              	   SECTION 3.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this 
Ordinance
         shall take effect two weeks from and after its passage, as
         required by law.
